SETTING UP AND RUNNING A LIVE AUCTION
1. How do I configure auction items?

• Set the run time (e.g., 30 seconds per item).
• Define the starting price and optional reserve price (the minimum bid required to sell the item).
2. What is a reserve price?
A reserve price is the minimum bid required to sell an item. If bidding doesn’t meet this price, the item will not sell.
3. What is the auction extension (popcorn bidding) setting?
Popcorn bidding automatically extends the auction time if a bid is placed in the final seconds. For example, if a bid comes in with 10 seconds left, the auction will extend by an additional 20 seconds.
4. Can I preview my auction before going live?
Yes, you can preview your auction setup before you go live by referencing the preview tray and mobile preview features in the Store Listing.
You'll also want to conduct an additional test when you are live by opening up the Live URLs with your Chrome Extension installed on Desktop or going to the Live Mobile Web App URL.
As a best practice, content creators will have a countdown timer prior to their content goes live so they can conduct the necessary technical checks and balances before they address their live audience.
5. How do I adjust individual auction item settings?
You can override general auction settings (e.g., run time, bid increments) for specific items directly in the product settings within the app.
6. Does Super Streaming provide marketing tools for my auction?

Share the Super Streaming landing page link across your social channels or owned media. Desktop users will be directed to download the Chrome plugin, while mobile users are deep-linked to the web app
8. How do I start my live auction?
• Start your stream on YouTube, Twitch, or both using a third-party tool like Streamlabs.
• Obtain the public YouTube or Twitch URL (not the live URL) and map it to your Super Streaming auction in the app.
9. How do I link my YouTube or Twitch stream to the auction?
• Copy the public URL from YouTube or Twitch.
• In the Super Streaming app, go to Add Channel Links and paste the URL.
• This ensures the shopping overlay appears for viewers during the live stream.
10. What does my audience see during the auction?
Your viewers will see a countdown timer and the auction item displayed under the live video. They can bid directly on the item in real-time.
11. How do I start an auction item?
Click Run on the item in your Super Streaming app. This starts the countdown timer for that item, which will be visible to viewers.
12. How do bids work during the auction?

Once an item is won, the user is directed to a Shopify paywall where they complete the purchase by entering their payment and shipping details.
15. What live auction details does the viewer see?

16. What about items that have a winning bidder but are not purchased?
Users who have a winning bid but have not purchased the item after the auction ends will receive a reminder email from the Super Streaming team right after the auction is over and 24 hours after the auction ends. If the user still does not purchase the item, you can re-list this item for future auction or e-commerce purposes.
18. How do I confirm auction sales in Shopify?
Purchased auction items will appear in your Shopify orders section, complete with the buyer’s information and payment details.
Supplemental reporting will be provided through the Super Streaming App that includes total GMV revenue generated from the S2Commerce:Super Streaming App. Total commissions paid, total orders and best selling items and video streams.
